yesterday gor and i built our very first bear, ziggy! (: (: the honour of owning him goes to none other than our old friend wang wang (can't believe we've known him for.. 11 years! :O)
here he is! isn't he a cutie :D in surgeon scrubs too~
it was really fun and we just couldn't stop laughing. the heart ceremony was the best! we rubbed the heart to warm it, and rubbed it against ziggy's heart to tell him he's loved. then we clasp it to our foreheads and think of wangwang, and rub it against ziggy's forehead so he can recognise his owner. then we blow and make a wish, kiss it and put it into ziggy! oh and ziggy has two hearts, a checkered one and a red one! much love ^^
anyway having gone through the elaborate process of making a bear, i'm really sure build a bear was created by a great lover of stuffed toys! feels great to know there's someone out there who loves stuffed toys as much as i do :')

the sound of music is my favourite childhood movie of all time! i must've watched it at least five times (and made mummy watch it with me too lol).
so tutorials have started and sem2 is going at full speed now. sigh :( finally got down to jotting down all my essay and project deadlines plus test dates, it's gonna be another super busy cannot breathe semester again. i know one day i'll miss studying, but while you're at it it just feels so overwhelming sometimes. maybe i should just take it day by day, week by week and try not to stress myself out over things too far ahead.
right now i'm just crossing my fingers and hoping my geog exposure mod group will be good, i'm really counting on it to pull up my CAP! population geog will be okay because tay is with me, and for ss i have sarah and nicole so i should be safe. i'm also worried about 18C essay, set own topic= me die D:
i know it's kind of funny to say this now but i can't wait for my summer holidays omg.
anyway this year's cny was really fun! at least reunion dinner was, taboo and twin telepathy ftw :D found out i'm actually quite telepathic with qxjj which was real cool! and shuang shuang liked to cite aunty four as an example to our amusement ahaha!
i'm waiting for the lj mobile toolbar to appear so i can upload the von trapp family photo but it's not appearing .___. oh yay it just did!
saw this really cute photo on facebook, awww :')
okay back to geog tutorial!

so i'm spending the morning of the first day of my holidays accompanying my student for her kaoji. hoho.
i brought kitty bracelet out today! it keeps jangling (it's a bell) haha i feel like a pet cat!
anyway this moment brings me way back to the time i was nine (ten years ago wow), to the days where mini-me and mini-gor sat in xls's tiny back room in their 3-room toa payoh hdb flat (humble beginnings lol). it was so cramped it was possible to 弓-fight without reaching very far! and i remember wearing this hello kitty set of clothes comprising pink shorts and a white loose puffed-sleeved top with hello kitty and small jewel stickers (:
and i also remember my very first kaoji ever! grade 4 at the old old nafa building that was dark and dilapidated lol. okay maybe not dilapidated but pretty scary. apart from my bro and i there was a bunch of guys and girls older than us and they were freaking each other out, but i wasn't scared at all! the 考官 asked me if my bro (who went before me) was my bro, and i still remember taking my bro's qin as a spare. as if it's possible to 断弦 playing 良宵 LOL but it's always good to be careful!
and at that point in time not many kids my age took kaoji so the examiners were quite surprised to see tiny tots like my bro and i. those were the days i weighed 21kg btw ahaha! okay end of reminiscing. it's not my student's turn yet so late already .__.
later i'm going shopping at plaza sing, then heading to kino for the wind-up bird chronicle producer talk! ^^

was leaving utown after theatre practical and the sky looks like a unicorn left a rainbow trail in its wake (:
tomorrow is the last day for posting on the japanese studies ivle forum, and i've only posted twice yay me. it's just so hard to come up with points and supporting evidence for each post, like some aq on its own. and so many people take the course the number of posts are insane! in future, i will avoid taking courses in which ivle forum postings account for part of my grade :/ narrative was okay though it was actually quite fun posting there because you can talk about all random things!
( tcl had some bad news for me! )
after this i shall keep away from blogshop purchases to save up for taiwan in december! :D any recommendations for food/ shopping/ places to visit? (:
